David had a long and distinguished career ? in theatre, TV, radio and film, but to Blake?s 7 fans he will always be remembered as Olag Gan, the gentle giant who he played for 17 episodes. Although David was a true science-fiction fan himself, he always expressed amazement at the continued interest in Blake?s 7 ? a show he made so many years ago ? and the interest of the fans in his career and the character he played, though he was always more than happy to discuss any and all aspects of the show with the fans.

Very Sad. Just another indication of how time is flying by us all. When I watch Blakes 7 I keep forgetting how long ago it really was. Sometimes I just wish we could all go back to the early 80's and stay there! Swap Shop, Look-In magazines and Blakes 7 aplenty Wink

Although I'm not sure I could live with a Thatcher government.

Goodbye David, you will be missed!

I worked with David many times over the years and he was a very quiet hardworking family man....
We did have a laugh when we did this scene Laughing Laughing
