Jacqueline Pearce - we will miss you!

Blakes 7 is a Science Fiction television series created by Terry Nation and shown by the BBC. It started in 1978 and ran until 1981 giving us four series and a very memorable finale - which to this day is still the topic of conversation between fans of the series. A rumoured remake is in development by Sky TV in the UK.

Jacqueline Pearce - we will miss you!

Just heard the news that Jacqueline Pearce (famed for her marvellous performance as Supreme Commander/President Servalan) is moving to the African bush indefinitely later this month to carry on her voluntary work with orphaned and wounded monkeys, and will be signing photos at the shop to raise funds.

I am full of praise and support for the admirable work (more details no doubt are to be found at her website: http://www.jacquelinepearce.com/) she will be doing out there but I, and I guess a great many people will miss her Crying or Very sad
