'Time Squad' - the 4th episode of Season One

Blakes 7 is a Science Fiction television series created by Terry Nation and shown by the BBC. It started in 1978 and ran until 1981 giving us four series and a very memorable finale - which to this day is still the topic of conversation between fans of the series. A rumoured remake is in development by Sky TV in the UK.

Just watching 'Time Squad' (season one, episode four) the other evening and it got me wondering the following...

You know when Avon is manoevering the projectile (containing Blake and Jenna) into the Liberator we see a flat area open up to receive it. Now looking at the Liberator I can't see where, presumably at the front, this entrance is at the front of the craft.

Any ideas or is this just one of those amusing production gaffs that make the series so endearing.

Oh yeah... and while we are on about 'Time Squad'....

I really like Cally's (Jan Chappell) first scene where she initially believes Blake (and his companions) to be hostile. Love her scarlet costume, totally appropriate to blend in with the red tinged arid 'quarry-type' landscape of the planet Saurian Major. Cally also gets probably the best lines of the entire episode, who could forget 'May you die alone and silent!'. Also Vila's line 'I plan to live forever... or die trying'. Great stuff!
