Survivors 3 On Dvd

Survivors is an outstanding 38 episode drama series that first aired in the 1970s which still has a cult following today. The action is centred around the experiences of a group of individuals in England as they grapple with the post plague world and the trials of day-to-day survival. The remake of Survivors launched on BBC One at the end of October 2008 and the second series completed its run in February 2010.

had a brief glance through the contents since receiving it, it all looks up to the same high standard as the previous two season box sets.

Love the 'rolling' picture galleries but the 'icing on the cake' is indeed the 65 minute 'New World Rising' special, looks pretty classy.

I was watching a couple of season three episodes yesterday evening ('Bridgehead' and 'Reunion') and wanted to mention the following observation.

The character called Philip Hurst who features in 'Reunion' is played by actor John Lee. Lee was a regular in the BBC Naval drama series 'Warship' where he played Lieutenant Commander Kiley. <!--emo&B)--><!--endemo-->
