remembering 'Mission To Destiny'

Blakes 7 is a Science Fiction television series created by Terry Nation and shown by the BBC. It started in 1978 and ran until 1981 giving us four series and a very memorable finale - which to this day is still the topic of conversation between fans of the series. A rumoured remake is in development by Sky TV in the UK.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for 'Mission To Destiny', a murder mystery set aboard the Galaxy Class cruiser, Ortega. Found on a circular orbit you have our gallant crew teleporting aboard to find why all the crew have been rendered unconscious and the flight deck pilot stabbed to death. It's a great story for fans of Avon and Cally, I do like them working together to solve the mystery.

I do think that some of the lighting in this story is a bit harsh making the actors look very pale. Also the costumes are fairly plain aside from Cally's rather snazzy sparkling outfit, maybe because of her status as the Liberator crews 'resident alien'.

Also worth noting is the scene where Blake, in one of the cabins, attempts to close the air vent, and knocks off one of the knobs. You can hear it clatter on the floor Laughing Laughing

Anyone else got memories, thoughts comments about this story?
