The BBC's brilliant SECRET ARMY dramatised the lives of the brave men and women who ran the resistance evasion lines, which assisted Allied aircrews to escape from German occupied countries into neutral countries like Spain or Switzerland, during the Second World War

For me, all the characters are wonderful and impressive but my heart is with Nick Bradley, soo handsome and soo clever. Who else shares my opinion?

I agree he was a very important character in the series, shaking up the regulars especially when Albert was imprisoned during most of season three. His character certainly offered positive advice on the running of 'Lifeline', especially to Natalie

I myself like Flt. Lt. Curtis best followed by Albert.

I like Curtis because he is very well portrayed by Christopher Neame and he is an RAF pilot who is risking his life in enemy territory to save his comrades. He is also very intelligent and manages to fit in (for the most part).

I like Albert because he is very important in Lifeline and can be tough when he has to be.
I also feel sorry for him having to care for his invalid wife (Who I also feel sorry for) and feeling guilty all the time.

Having seen all the episodes (some little time ago now), I can honestly say, I haven't got a favourite character-I like them all too much to choose.

The closest I can get to, is Reinhardt (hence the name), because I like his attitude to the whole war situation.

All the characters are so good in Secret Army, so it is hard to choose! But I think my favourite characters must be Natalie Chantrans and Kessler <!--emo&:D--><!--endemo--> (but I like Clifford Rose anyway so that might have had an influence on me) <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> . At first I didn't like Yvette/Lisa, but now I'm watching series 1 again and she's actually not bad at all! <!--emo&B)--><!--endemo-->

Hello Everyone,

What a great series; it's hard to decide on a favourite character, isn't it? They just don't make TV like that anymore, do they? I've just finished watching series 2 again, which was my favourite the first time around. I was only young when it first came out, and it made a bit of an impression, if you know what I mean?

Anyway, I'm going to plump for Major Brandt - even though he was meant to be the enemy, you could really identify with him, couldn't you?

Au revoir for now.

Loved the Juliette Hammond intervieuw. It's a pity that the lighting was too dark.So you couldn't see the faces very well.Juliette still looks a lot like good old Nathalie Chantrens!!!She didn't aged.

Smile My favourite character has to be Reinhardt. You can really identify with the poor guy! Especially at the end when he gets court-martialed, he just doesn't seem to care anymore, just wants it all to be over. (I always cry when watching the episode 'The Execution' Smile

Kessler: is truly fantastic. He acts and IS a Gestapo officer in every sense of the word!

His diction and speach is fabulous and he potrays him so well.

He has a fantatism too - a real Nazi, and perhaps a real fear factor whenever he is on screen.

Clifford Rose perhaps had the pick of the parts- but what a job he did of it!! Bafta winning stuff. Very Happy
