BAFTA award winning 1976 BBC costume drama. I Claudius tells the Emperor Claudius? epic story spanning the annals of Roman history, from the mighty Augustus, through to the madness of Caligula, as it echoes down through the centuries?

Not only is it marvellous Laughing that 'I, Claudius' is being dusted off for a repeat showing, starting tonight (5th August 2006), but they are also bringing out of the archives the marvellously entertaining 'cult classic' comedy series 'Up Pompeii'. Frankie Howerd at his comedic best, now when are we going to get an extras packed DVD release of this comic masterpiece?
