Remembering Season Two finale 'Star One'

Blakes 7 is a Science Fiction television series created by Terry Nation and shown by the BBC. It started in 1978 and ran until 1981 giving us four series and a very memorable finale - which to this day is still the topic of conversation between fans of the series. A rumoured remake is in development by Sky TV in the UK.

Remembering Season Two finale 'Star One'

Just watching season two finale 'Star One' yesterday evening.

I just love the space station scenes between Jacqueline Pearce (Supreme Commander Servalan) and John Bown (Durkin). Jacqui really conveys the seriousness of the situation when she retorts 'Durkin, no one knows where Star One is!'

Also Roj Blake's final words on the Liberator 'For what is worth I have always trusted you from the very beginning'. Why did he wait two years to make this admission and does Avon truely believe him after all this time???

"STAR ONE" is one of the classic episode and, not just for the fact we lose both "BLAKE" and, "JENNA".

The look that "AVON" gives "BLAKE" after - "For what is worth I have always trusted you from the very beginning" - is priceless as he watches "BLAKE" going back of the flightdeck.

This has many classics lines from the series.

Like right at the end -

VILA: "AVON this is stupid!"

AVON: "When did that ever stop us!"

About the only thing letting it down are the visuals of the Alien Fleet in space and the famous "TRAVIS II" spacecraft (made from two hairdryers!!!) Laughing
