ROME - HBO's series returns for a second season!

BAFTA award winning 1976 BBC costume drama. I Claudius tells the Emperor Claudius? epic story spanning the annals of Roman history, from the mighty Augustus, through to the madness of Caligula, as it echoes down through the centuries?

Just visited the site:-

and have heard that it's coming back for another run from 14th January 2007. No word when we in the UK will get to see it but I for one would welcome BBC2 transmissions of this new season

This series is excellent - was really hoping the second one would run a bit longer then it did but it was still like the first, addictive, and ok even though it wasnt totally true to live it is one of the best around.
