I noticed in the 'Fave Character' thread that Dave123 had recently met Ron Pember (Alain). I'm certain he sadly had to retire from acting due to a stroke. You said he was very friendly Dave, tell us more about you meeting him? I hope Ron's health is good thesedays

Anyone met any of the other actors recently?

Warning : discussion of couple of episodes a couple of paragraphs down !!!

No meetings unfortunately but I did see the wonderful Angela Richards in the show Cabaret recently in London. It would have been nice to hang around at the stage door but not sure my girlfriend would have understood!

She still has a great voice. I think I will buy the CD of her performances soon.
Alistair McGowan was also in Cabaret as the master of ceremonies and he was very good too.

I'm just getting to the end of my recording of series 3 from the recent showings and have enjoyed the show probably more than when I first watched it as a teenager.

I did wonder about 2 recent episodes. In one, Monique is very against Major Bradley borrowing an airman (he is killed) to mend a machinegun required to ambush some V2 parts in a convoy. In the next episope she says nothing as Bradley and Natalie take several car loads of airmen to attack a V2 base.

No, but I recently found a photo of two of the cast members who were at an event called 'Secret Army cast reunion'. There is no indication as to where and when this was held and who attended it? Does anyone know any more?

This is 'The Terrence Hardiman Website' (Major Hans Dietrich Reinhardt) and there are two photos, one of Terrence with Hazel McBride (Madeleine) and the second one with Clifford Rose (Kessler) ~ both photos look relatively recent (just a feeling) and both say taken at the 'Secret Army Cast Reunion' which I find intriguing as to where and when it was held and who attended and are there any more photos................
