Sky One plans 'Blake's 7' revival

Blakes 7 is a Science Fiction television series created by Terry Nation and shown by the BBC. It started in 1978 and ran until 1981 giving us four series and a very memorable finale - which to this day is still the topic of conversation between fans of the series. A rumoured remake is in development by Sky TV in the UK.

Yeah I've also heard this for about a week or so but I've rather taken it 'with a pinch of salt' because afterall Sky One previoous announced about the possibility of a remake of "The Prisoner" and that eventually evaporated.

Well if this revival does come about I hope it will be true to the character/story premise of the original with maybe a passing nod to the more gutsy audios on sale and being broadcast occasionally on BBC7!

personally i think it"s a shame that the BBC cannot do the remake of B7. if they can waste TV licence money on rubbish like SCD then surely they can find the money to do a remake.is that too much to ask? :x
