The Bill to be axed

I must admit that i was very disappointed at yesterday's news that the Bill is to be axed. There aren't too many programmes that i go out of my way to watch these days but the Bill is one of them. Perhaps it is me that is out of step but i just cannot understand why garbage like Emmerdale, Coronation Street , X Factor and the celebrity jungle thing are treated as great TV and then they axe a quality show like the Bill. The head of ITV is an arse!

Today (31st August 2010) is the fateful day that the final episode (9.pm) and 'behind the scenes' program (10.35pm) are shown by ITV1.

Although not a fan of the series I'd be interested to hear bullshooter if you thought this was a fitting ending or not

Yes Sarah, it was a fitting end to things but it still should not have been axed. It was quality drama and there isn't much of that around these days.
