Well let's just see what happens with about two months to go. Who know's it might actually get released this year?

Re the limited edition version play.com have now added an image to their page

Looking at it it seems that there's a free model of the 'Liberator' with it. This follows on from the promotions that ran for Red Dwarf 5 and Doctor Who's Three Doctors release. Personally I'm not keen to spend the extra three pounds however I'm sure it will please some hardened fans out there.

I would guess that we will probably get our hands in Season Four around February/March 2006, anyone go along with this?

So Season One was in Silver witl Blake as the side picture, Season Two was in Gold with Servalan on the side picture. Now we have got Season Four in pale blue with Avon on the side picture. What could they have for Season Four.

My suggestion is firstly that it should be in pale green. This would be in keeping with the Vern ('Sand') and the planet where the Scorpio base is located. But who could they possibly have as the side photo??? There's a tough one, maybe Soolin???

What do other Blake's Seven fans think about this?

Yeah you could be right about that.

However Season Four wasn't a particularly good time for him was it.

Granted he did get to be the 'one man back up team' in 'Games' but other than that he didn't do too much worth noting.

Or am I wrong about that????

Pondering a future Season Four box set release I started thinking about what we might be served up in the form of commentaries this time round.

Obviously it's well out of our hands as to what will be chosen but here are my predictions (once again a difficult choice given what is available (meaning 'it's hardly a classic run')):

Disc Three - 'Sand' - Tarrant and Servalan trapped on Vern
Disc Four - 'Orbit' - Pinder and Egrorian plus Servalan
Disc Five - 'Blake' - the classic series and season finale where they all die(?)

I suspect two, maybe three will feature Jacquline Pearce, on 'Blake' we should get Paul Darrow, Gareth Thomas and Chris Boucher.

It's all gone rather quiet on the 'Blake's 7' front at present RDV. Even the proposed plans for a new series are rather stuck at present, judging by the static picture on their website (<a href='http://www.blakes7.com' target='_blank'>http://www.blakes7.com</a>).

I reckon its too early to hear about a Season Four DVD box set however I would say with the BBC's attention focused currently on the Christmas/New Year Doctor Who (new series (box set) and classic series (City of Death & Beginnings triple story box set) and Red Dwarf that the smart money would probably be on a March 2006 release. Let's see what happens in the new year
