I'm not sure whether the first documentary he mentions is on the U.S. DVD release, but I'll be checking tonight!

Just had a look at the HBO site you mentioned and certainly the 'Rome' series looks appealing.

Possibly it will come to either FX (famed for JAG, NCIS and the stunning Carnivale) or possibly the Hallmark Channel (home of Crossing Jordan and The District) early next year. Worth keeping an eye on these channels and they future plans.

Recently heard, as I'm sure many others have, that this series is set to debut on BBC2 during November in a 9.00pm weekday slot.

I wonder if 'I, Claudius' may get another airing at the same time.
