WHO'S YOUR FAVOURITE DOCTOR??

Classic Doctor Who is the longest-running science fiction television series in the history of broadcasting, a series that began on the BBC1 network in the United Kingdom in November 1963 and ran until 1989. Whilst UK viewers warmed to the subsequent 1996 TV movie ratings were not similiarly strong in America and this co-production sadly spelled eighth incarnation Paul McGann's only appearance to date.

''Well now,'' - I'm just curious to know who your favourite DOCTOR is out of the various incarnations??

Having beeen fortunate to watch every DOCTOR - my favourite will always be the third one played by ''JON PERTWEE''!!!

Well I could just quote 'the Brigadier' who says (I think it's in 'The Five Doctors') 'splendid fellows all of them!'

Yeah I'd a big fan of Jon Pertwee but running him pretty close for me I'd say it's pretty much a dead heat between Sylvester McCoy and Patrick Troughton. 'Oh my giddy aunt'/'When I say run, Jamie, run!'
Cool

Here's something that might start some comment!

When comparing the various incarnations I have to admit I've never been overtly partial to Peter Davison's fifth Doctor Rolling Eyes

"Well now," - You're not the only one. Although, I like "PETER" I don't think that he was served too well in his time as our favourite TIMELORD. I much prefered him as, "TRISTAN FARNON" in the series: "ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL"!!!

well mine has to be Tom Baker. Without a doubt. Some of his 'off the cuff' ad-libbing was quite fantastic.

I love Pertwee but it has to be Tom Baker, without a doubt.

IMHO - they weren't all splendid fellows though - Davison was blandless personified and totaly mis-cast (again I stress IMHO), Colin Baker seems a very nice man but he was a terrible Doctor and McCoy was just embarassingly awful.
